About Me
My exposure to the
fiber arts began at the age of 12 when my mother taught me
step-by-step sewing lessons. I was hooked. As my
sewing progressed, more in-depth details and projects were added
along the way. Throughout the next 35 years, I fine tuned
my creations into what have become my business, Needles and
Pins.
My husband and I are
"empty nesters;" our two children live nearby, but they have
pursued their own careers. We live in South Central Texas,
home of Bluebell Ice Cream. My husband is the outdoor
person who loves to do yard work and garden. He has
created his own recipes for canned pickles, okra, pears and
salsa. I'm the indoor person of the family, and this works
well since I have a business that requires I stay at the studio
a majority of my time to complete custom orders. |
