Machine-Embroidered Wedding Invitation Wall Hanging

This digitized wedding invitation was created with the client's request for something a little different from your standard framed wedding invitation.  The finished size of this hanging is 18" tall x 13-1/2" wide.  A dowel rod has been inserted in both the top and bottom casings, along with a narrow satin ribbon being attached to hang the creation.

The lettering features the bride-to-be's wedding color, a deep plum.  The intertwining wedding rings are stitched in silver metallic thread.  Two different lettering styles were used in this invitation, mainly to set off the couple's names at the center from the rest of the invitation wording.

Fabric used for this wall hanging is a textured, white 100% cotton fabric.  It is also lined in the same fabric.  On the back of the wall hanging is a custom label created by the relatives requesting this original piece of embroidery.  (See the second photo for wording used.)  I also combined 3 lettering styles for the label.  The finished wall hanging has 4 layers of fused interfacing on the back side.  The embroidery itself required 3 layers of stabilizer; I also stitched over all wording 2 times to ensure a deep color that would stand out on the wall hanging... this totaled approximately 80,000 stitches when finished.

Three different digitized images were done prior to construction so that the clients could visualize the finished product.  From these images, we combined the font styles for the completed hanging.  When it comes to something as important as one's wedding day, extra attention to detail is imperative to creating exactly what the client wants.

If I provide materials for the hanging, as well as digitize the invitation and stitch out the product to completion, prices start at $99.95 for this creation.  The final cost will be determined when I have finished the item, as fine-tuning the details is what takes the most time for something this important.  No one else will have given the couple something so original and important.  As you can see, it IS a work of art -- something the bride and groom will cherish for a lifetime.
